After the recent devastating bushfires Lithgow tourism operators are looking forward to welcoming visitors to the area.
With the re-opening of the fire affected Glow Worm Tunnel Rd this week, the Lithgow area is now completely accessible with all attractions and businesses open (except for the Zig Zag Railway).
Lithgow Mayor Maree Statham said: “Lithgow has had some tough times over the last few weeks and I would like to appeal to locals and visitors alike to come and see all that Lithgow has to offer and how little impact the fire has had on all of our tourism attractions and businesses.
“We have some exciting events coming up over the next few weeks with Celebrate Lithgow, Lithgow Flash Gift and finishing off with Lithglo in mid-December.
“These events would be great for visitors to come and see what our amazing area has to offer. We would like everybody to know that Lithgow is open for business and we look forward to welcoming you soon.”
