After the success of the inaugural Lithglo last Christmas, Lithgow will once again come under coloured spotlights during an expanded program from December 12 to 14.

The overall theme for Lithglo this year will be a “Christmas wonderland’’ sharing traditional seasonal experiences and stories. Expect to see beautiful Christmas trees and scenes, sparkling decorations and snow in summer combined with spectacular lighting displays.

The three-day festival will include the following community activities:

ShopGlo, Main St (Thursday, December 12)

Browse the decorated Christmas shop windows along Main St, the John Joseph building covered in a mantle of summer snow and snowmen in Pioneer Park.

Why not buy your Christmas gifts during the special Main Street Shopglo sale?

ParkGlo, Queen Elizabeth Park (Friday, December 13)

Take an evening promenade along the walkways lit with sparkling fairy lights. See the illuminated Christmas trees. Spread out a picnic and watch the evening performances in the bandstand rotunda.

Churchglo, Hoskins Church (Saturday, December 14)

Watch the awe inspiring lightshow on the church facade, experience Lithgow’s first night market and view the Light into Darkness art exhibition.

Events will begin at 6.30pm each evening. Phone 1300 760 276 for more information.
